Interpretation and definitions

Words with an initial capital letter have meanings defined below. These definitions apply whether they appear in singular or in plural.

"Company" (referred to as "we", "us", or "our") means Axenda, operating from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. "Application" means Khotta, the software we provide. "Service" means the Application together with khotta.io and our related websites and APIs. "You" means the individual using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on whose behalf that individual uses the Service.

Data we collect

We collect the following categories of data when you use the Service:

• Account data: your name, email address, and phone number, used to create and secure your account.
• Planner content: the tasks, habits, schedules, notes, and files you create in the Application.
• Usage data: collected automatically, including IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and diagnostic information.
• Purchase data: subscription and purchase records. Payments are processed by licensed payment providers; we never store card numbers.

How we use your data

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To create and manage your account and to authenticate you.
• To contact you about updates, security notices, and support requests.
• To detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, and technical problems.
• To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in these circumstances:

• With service providers who process data on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, and payment providers.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
• Where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our users or the Company.
• With your consent, for any other purpose disclosed at the time.

Retention and international transfer

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy and to comply with our legal obligations. Usage data is generally retained for shorter periods, except where it is used to strengthen security or where we are legally required to keep it longer.

Your information may be processed on servers located outside your state or country, where data protection laws may differ. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is handled securely and in accordance with this Policy wherever it is processed.

Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your personal data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights and data deletion

You may access, correct, or export your personal data at any time from within the Application. You may delete your account and all associated data from the account settings screen, or by emailing us at info@axenda.io from the address registered to your account.

Deletion is permanent. Once processed, your planner content cannot be recovered. We may retain a limited record where we are legally required to do so.

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above, and where the change is significant we will notify you in the Application or by email.
